Top-seeded Passaic Tech won all but one bout to roll to a 65-6 win over fourth-seeded Bloomfield in the semifinals of the NJSIAA/IBEW Local 102 North 1, Group 5 tournament, hosted by Passaic Tech.
Passaic Tech (21-10) will face third-seeded Clifton in the sectional championship on Wednesday. The Bulldogs bested Clifton 41-23 in a Dec. 20 matchup.
Marco Barra (113), Adrainn Coloma (215), Edgard Vasquez (190), Nicholas Madlonado (165), Ismael Vertedor (138), Muhammad Abuhadba (120) all won via pin for the Bulldogs.
Nicholas Nguyten won via 21-5 tech over James Haverick at 106, Tyler Whartnaby teched Thomas Haverick at 150, and James Conklin teched Malik Nelson at 157.
Muntaser Atyieh earned a 6-5 decision over Daniel Mejia and Rayan Mohammad earned a 15-9 decision over Joey Testa at 132.
Gabe McCulloch earned Bloomfield’s (21-8) sole win by pinning Christian Cabrera at heavyweight.
